Kosta Boda at the Swedish Open Tennis this summer

Kosta Boda is an exhibition partner for the Swedish Open Tennis tournament in Båstad since 2008. This year Kosta Boda presents art glass by designer Kjell Engman in Båstad tennis hall during the men’s tournament. Kjell will be at the exhibition during July 15-17.

Kosta Boda’s guest designer Ernst Billgren has designed men’s tournament awards.

Kosta Boda at Läckö Castle summer 2010

On Saturday 5 June Kosta Boda opened its summer exhibition at Läckö Castle, just outside Lidköping in Sweden. The exhibition is called 7 Artists – 7 Personalities and exhibits objects by all Kosta Boda designers in Läckö Catle’s historic surroundings. Exhibiting designers are Anna Ehrner, Bertil Vallien, Göran Wärff, Kjell Engman, Ludvig Löfgren, Ulrica Hydman-Vallien and Åsa Jungnelius.

The exhibition opened at the same time as Läckö Castle opened up for the 2010 summer season. 450 previously invited guests were there to experience the opening festivities and all the speeches given in and around the castle. Designers Bertil Vallien and Ludvig Löfgren represented Kosta Boda at the opening. The exhibition lasts until 22 August.

Glaskonst - Glass art - Opening weekend

On Saturday is the opening day for all our summer exhibitions at our glassworks i Kosta and Åfors! Take a tour around the area and enjoy exhibitions with our artists Åsa Jungnelius, Ludvig Löfrgren, Kjell Engman, Bertil Vallien and Ulrica Hydman-Vallien. The exhibition runs between 10 and 17 on both Saturday and Sunday, 24-25 April.

Art glass by Bertil Vallien and Ulrica Hydman-Vallien is right now for show in Italy. The location is the beautiful Morandin Regali gallery in Treviso and the exhibition runs until 2nd may. www.morandinregali.com

Harrods!

Kosta Boda have been presented at Harrods in London for a long time, but last week there was a reopening of the room we are located in. The entire room has been closed off for nearly two months while it has been completely renovated. We now have our own department with our own staff and our own interior decoration, and the name of the room has been changed to “Contemporary Living Room”. Harrods is already one of our most important partners in the UK and by this we hope to increase our cooperation and our presence in the UK further.

One of Sweden’s biggest events within hairdressing and beauty took place in Jönköping last weekend. Kosta Boda showed up glass designed by Åsa Jungnelius.
